Pre-Health, Research, or Teaching with Faculty Who Know Your Name.
Biology at a Christian university should still be real biology: cells, organisms, ecology, and the scientific method. NU’s B.S. in Biology is built for students heading toward medicine, allied health, research, or environmental work.
You study on a 56-acre campus overlooking Lake Washington, ten miles from Seattle’s hospitals and biotech corridor. Small classes and a 10:1 student-to-faculty ratio mean lab instructors are not a video feed.
Pair the major with pre-health advising and internships. Across NU, 94% of students found jobs or entered a graduate program within six months of graduation.
